Terms and Conditions
Effective 25 October 2026
These Terms and Conditions govern the use of Zero Harm at Workplace at wilsonronnie.org and the purchase and use of the digital book Zero Harm at Workplace: No KPI Is More Important Than Human Life, authored by Wilson Ronnie Odoom. By creating an account, accessing the website or purchasing a digital edition, you agree to these terms.
1. Website and book publisher
This website offers digital editions of the book by Wilson Ronnie Odoom. Questions concerning orders, digital access and these terms may be directed to support@wilsonronnie.org.
2. Eligibility and customer accounts
You must be legally capable of entering into a purchase agreement in your country. You agree to provide accurate registration information and keep it current. Your account is personal to you. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for activity on your account, except where that activity results from our own failure to take appropriate security measures. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. We may restrict fraudulent or abusive accounts after reasonable review, subject to applicable law.
3. Digital editions
Download e-Book: A one-time purchase provides the purchaser with access to the downloadable PDF and/or EPUB files made available for that edition. Download links are linked to the purchaser's account and may require sign-in. File compatibility depends on the customer's device and reading software.
Online Reader: A separate one-time purchase provides personal, ongoing access to the online reader for the 54-chapter, 576-page book through this website. This edition does not include a downloadable file. “Lifetime access” means access for as long as the online reader service and this edition are maintained, subject to these terms and applicable consumer rights; it does not guarantee that a website or technology will operate indefinitely.
Buying one edition does not automatically include the other unless expressly stated at checkout.
4. Orders, prices and payment
Prices and available purchase options are shown on the Buy e-Book page before payment. USD may be displayed as a reference price, while the final charge may be processed in a supported checkout currency shown by the payment provider. Exchange rates and charges applied by banks or card issuers may differ from on-screen estimates. Payment is processed securely by Paystack or its authorised payment partners. We do not collect or store full payment-card numbers or card security codes on this website.
An order is confirmed only after the payment provider verifies a successful transaction. If payment is not verified, digital access may remain pending. Keep your payment reference for support.
5. Delivery and access
Once payment is verified, the relevant digital entitlement is added to the purchasing account. We may email a confirmation and, for the download edition, a protected download link. Delivery may be delayed by payment verification, email filtering or temporary technical issues. If you are charged but access is not enabled, contact support@wilsonronnie.org with your order reference and purchasing email so we can investigate.
6. Copyright and permitted use
All text, illustrations, design and other original book content are protected by copyright and related intellectual-property laws. Purchasing an edition grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to read the book and, for the downloadable edition, retain a personal copy on your own devices. You do not purchase the copyright.
Without prior written permission, you may not sell, upload, distribute, share, sublicense, commercially reproduce or make substantial portions of the book available to others, or share your reader account. Brief quotations permitted by applicable copyright law remain permitted. Requests for institutional or educational reuse can be sent to the support email.
7. Licence enforcement and intellectual-property complaints
The personal licence does not authorise sharing a purchased file with colleagues, uploading it to shared drives or public platforms, selling copies, removing copyright notices, or allowing another person to use an online-reader account. To the extent permitted by law, we may investigate credible infringement reports, limit compromised access and seek available legal remedies for unauthorised copying or distribution. Access restrictions will be proportionate and subject to applicable consumer rights. Permission for commercial training, organisational distribution, translation or republication must be requested in writing at support@wilsonronnie.org.
8. Digital-sales refund and cancellation terms
Digital purchases are generally final once payment is completed and content is made available. We do not offer discretionary refunds for changes of mind, accidental orders, device preferences or failure to read the product description. Our Refund Policy explains this rule, payment-error assistance and exceptions required by law. Nothing in these terms excludes statutory rights to remedies for content that is defective, misdescribed or not supplied.
Where local law permits a right of withdrawal to be lost when digital delivery begins, any such loss applies only after the legally required express consent, acknowledgement and confirmation have been obtained. Agreeing to these terms alone does not waive a right that law requires to be accepted separately.
9. Educational and professional use
The book offers general educational and professional information about occupational safety, health and environmental management. It is not a substitute for competent site-specific assessment, legal advice, engineering review, medical advice, regulatory requirements or employer procedures. Readers remain responsible for evaluating the relevance of the material to local laws, hazards and working conditions. No particular safety, compliance or business outcome is guaranteed.
10. Availability, maintenance and security
We take reasonable steps to maintain access and protect the website, but temporary interruptions may occur during maintenance, hosting incidents or events outside our control. We may make proportionate technical or security changes. If a material disruption prevents access to paid content, contact support; any remedies required by applicable law remain available.
11. Acceptable website use
You must not attempt to bypass account controls, access another customer's files, interfere with the website, introduce malicious code, scrape protected book content, or use the service unlawfully. We may suspend access necessary to investigate serious misuse, with appropriate safeguards and subject to consumer rights.
12. Privacy
We handle personal information as set out in our Privacy Policy. Payment and access records may be retained as needed for delivery, security, legal obligations and dispute resolution.
13. Responsibility and limitations
We do not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability arising from fraud, wilful misconduct or mandatory consumer protections. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for losses caused by unauthorised redistribution, customer device incompatibility not contrary to the product description, or interruptions beyond reasonable control. Any limitation applies only to the extent lawful in your country.
14. Payment disputes and account integrity
If a charge appears incorrect or access is missing, contact us using your purchase reference so we can check the transaction and entitlement records. We may preserve reasonable transaction and account records to investigate suspected fraud, respond to payment-provider inquiries and resolve disputes. We do not impose penalties for making a genuine payment complaint or exercising legally protected chargeback rights. Where a payment is reversed, we may suspend the corresponding unpaid digital entitlement after verifying the reversal, subject to applicable law.
15. Changes and disputes
We may update these terms to reflect legal, technical or service changes. Material changes affecting an existing paid entitlement will not be imposed retrospectively in a way that unlawfully reduces your rights. The terms published when you purchase ordinarily govern that purchase, except where a change is required by law or is more favourable to you. Please contact us first about a concern so that we can investigate. Disputes are subject to applicable law and any mandatory consumer protections or local court rights; these terms do not remove rights that your country's law makes non-waivable.
